Other Blue Apple News:

* Iko are in the studio working on tracks for their second album. Frontman Kieran Scragg has long been credited with having one of the most distinctive voices in the UK music scene, but his new band are spreading their wings further afield, with an army of American fans downloading the album’s centrepiece track ‘Hologram’, a haunting lament for 9/11.

* We’re pleased to announce that Los Angeles based The Bastard Fairies are now represented in Europe by Blue Apple Music. The band are fast becoming an internet phenomenon, with more than 1.5 million free tracks downloaded from their debut album “Memento Mori”. Fronted by Native American Princess Yellow Thunder Woman (direct descendant of the Great Ponca Chief Standing Bear) the Bastard Fairies are causing a storm in the States with their controversial videos and highly infectious, but beautifully morose, collection of songs. Check out the videos below.

* Britpop pioneers Shed Seven have been confirmed for T-in-the-Park and V Festival. The band, who enjoyed a run of fifteen consecutive top 40 hits during the 1990’s, reformed for a sell out tour in Winter 2007, playing 20 dates, including three sold out nights at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire.
