ABOUT BLUE BARK Blue Bark were established with the current line up in September 2008 and it was immediately apparent from the very first rehearsal together that we hit it off musically. All of us have been involved in making music for a long time and know just how elusive that special kind of magic that makes a band tick, can be. We don't take ourselves too seriously, but we are serious about our music and deliver a dynamic, hard driving set balanced with some slow and melodic as well as funky, blues covers and originals. Anyone who has seen us live will testify to our infectious enthusiasm and drive. Ant's distinctive vocals and soaring guitar solos delivered with real passion, Duncan's solid rhythm and velvet smooth vocals on the slower numbers, Neil's pounding bass grooves and Rik's hard driving beat - that's Blue Bark.
Apart from doing covers of popular as well less widely performed Blues/Rock numbers, we have a growing list of original material in our set. Blue Bark are available for gigs throughout the UK as well as a larger venues and festivals and as a support band, both in the UK and Europe.
If you like what you hear and want more Blue Bark boogie blues/rock, ask your local live music venue to book us!

We have Studio time booked for November when we will be recording our first album of Blue Bark original songs. We are all very excited about this and started gigging a lot of the new songs in August. The feedback we are getting is very encouraging and we sincerely hope you will all enjoy the album when it is released, probably in December. We are planning to launch the album at a special live gig so keep a look out for an announcement later in the year.
