The hope of the Bluebird Music and Arts Festival is to celebrate the American Midwest through its music and arts. Midwestern American culture is, however, multifaceted and variously comprised of tradition, geographic and economic implications, and innovation. By creating opportunity for the appreciation of the American Midwest’s music and arts we hope to foster a forum for both celebrating American Midwestern culture and for discussing, understanding, and building that cultural solidarity.
This is Bluebird's second year and the lineup is packed to the gills with outstanding independent acts from every state in the Midwest. (Except the Dakotas--where ya'll at?) We hope to see everyone out this year enjoying the only Midwest festival comprised solely of Midwest artists (that we are aware of).

The Browncoats had to repost the new video with SNL actor Bill Chott due to some "hands of Blue" audio problems. So here's the new link. NOT a Firefly oriented video, just another guerrilla marketing effort for Firely in a different direction. Enjoy!
Well, we finally put up the new video with SNL actor Bill Chott and "Honkey" from MTV's Spring Break (see the blog). And we have absolutely no explaination for our actions!! WARNING: If you are squeamish, DO NOT watch this video. But if you appreciate goofy and gross humor, have a blast. (Sick people are HI-LARIOUS!) We have no freakin' idea what made us do this. But feel free to comment anyway. And don't forget about our Debut Album coming out September 1st!!
