This video below is my fall semester project from my first and last semester at New College, before it closed. The show starts in the dark so give it a minute before the lights come up. This show itself is called Tremor Festival where students that were in the Experimental Performance Institute (EPI) show their work, everyone from the BA candidates, like myself to the MFA's. The title is called, "re: Fat Ass!" Written, directed and performed by Blue Buddha. All music by Blue Buddha and featuring a piece of "Gold Digger" by Kanye West. I've written music and lyrics before but this is the first time Iv'e written and performed a text based performance piece. Hope you enjoy it! Looking to merge some electronic, soul, electronica, rock, jazz and...into one smooth, funky sound of luscious layers dripping with sinewy emotions and sensuality!! I can do hooks on hip hop songs!! I've sang with DJ's in clubs like DJ Sir Charles(the one from SF who moved back to N. Carolina-not the one in NJ-like I didn't know they were not the same person but sure was TOLD they are not the same person). Give me jazz, folk or pop and I will give itback with my own personal twist n delight!
