* BIOGRAFIA DE BLUE COCONUT (Català)
Els inicis del grup se situen vora l’any 2002 quan tres amics de la infància, en Puy, el Sete i el Seo, van decidir reunir-se per tocar cançons dels seus grups preferits. A mitjans del 2003 s’hi va incorporar en Fruk, un antic amic del Sete i el Seo, que va entrar al mateix institut on tots tres hi estudiaven. En aquestes dates, en una pluja d’idees boja, va aparèixer el nom de Blue Coconut, que va quedar com a nom del grup. El juliol del 2004, a través d’un anunci, es va establir contacte amb l’Adrià, que va passar a ser el bateria del grup després d’una breu prova.
El març de 2005 va arribar l’Esther com a cantant, i un mes després Blue Coconut va fer el seu primer concert, a la Sagrada Família. Durant dos anys, el grup va fer una vintena de concerts i va iniciar el procés de gravació d’una primera maqueta. Però l’agost de 2007 l’Esther va abandonar el grup i l’activitat es va estancar: la gravació de la maqueta es va aturar i tots els esforços es van centrar en buscar una nova veu. A finals del 2007, l’Erik va respondre a un dels anuncis publicats i després d’una prova feta entre març i abril del 2008, que va incloure dos concerts, va esdevenir el nou cantant de Blue Coconut.
L'octubre de 2008 Blue Coconut ha publicat la seva primera maqueta titulada "end at 953" i que consta de 5 temes propis. La gravació de tots els temes l'ha feta en Lolo Guerrero, guitarrista de Malaventura, excepte Cage of Sands que l'ha enregistrat en Frederic Fernández "Frik", guitarra de Blue Coconut. El grafisme i el disseny de la maqueta l'ha fet l'Oscar Arnal i les fotos l'Alba Puy.
Actualment, Blue Coconut es troba creant nou material en vistes a la gravació del seu primer disc.

Los inicios del grupo se sitúan alrededor del año 2002 cuando tres amigos de la infancia, Puy, Sete y Seo; decidieron reunirse para tocar canciones de sus grupos favoritos. A mediados del 2003 se incorporó Fruk, un antiguo amigo de Sete y Seo, que entró en el mismo instituto donde todos estudiaban. Por esas fechas, en una lluvia de ideas loca, apareció el nombre de Blue Coconut, que quedó como el nombre del grupo. En julio de 2004, por medio de un anuncio, se contactó con Adrià que pasó a ser el batería del grupo después de una breve prueba.
En marzo de 2005 llegó Esther como cantante, y un mes después Blue Coconut hizo su primer concierto en la Sagrada Família. Durante dos años el grupo hizo una veintena de conciertos e inició el proceso de grabación de una primera maqueta. Pero en agosto de 2007 Esther abandonó el grupo y la actividad se estancó: la grabación de la maqueta se detuvo y todos los esfuerzos se centraron en buscar una nueva voz. A finales de 2007, Erik respondió a uno de los anuncios publicados y después de una prueba hecha entre marzo y abril de 2008, que incluyó dos conciertos, pasó a ser el nuevo cantante de Blue Coconut.
En octubre de 2008, Blue Coconut ha publicado su primera maqueta titulada "end at 953" que consta de 5 temas propios. La gravación de todos los temas ha ido a cargo de Lolo Guerrero, guitarrista del grupo Malaventura, excepto Cage of Sands, a cargo de Frederic Fernández "Frik", guitarrista de Blue Coconut. El grafismo y el diseño lo ha hecho Oscar Arnal y las fotos Alba Puy.

* BLUE COCONUT'S BIOGRAPHY (english)
Blue Coconut’s first steps can be found at the Sagrada Família neighbourhood in Barcelona around 2002 when three childhood friends came together with one goal: having fun while playing their instruments. In mid-2003, the trio became a four-piece when Frik, a schoolmate and long-time friend of Seo and Sete joined the band. This was a period of evolution for the band and during this time Puy and Seo came up with the band’s current name after a crazy brainstorming session.
On July 2004, contact was established with a drummer that had posted some ads. A week later, Adrià was auditioned and officially became Blue Coconut’s drummer. In late March 2005, Esther joined the band after a brief audition. A month after finding its voice, Blue Coconut made its first appearance as a fully established band in front of the “Sagrada Familia”. Blue Coconut played about twenty gigs and started to record their first demo. In August 2007, Esther left the band and therefore the recording of the demo remained in standby and the band focused on finding a new singer. On late 2007 Erik contacted the band and after an audition, which included two shows in March and April, he became Blue Coconut’s new voice.
In October 2008 Blue Coconut has released their first demo entitled “end at 953” which contains 5 songs. Lolo Guerrero was the sound engineer who recorded all the songs except Cage of Sands, recorded by Frederic Fernández (aka Frik), guitar of the band. The artwork was done by Oscar Arnal and the photography by Alba Puy.
Nowadays the band is working on new material for its first album.
