About me:

Hey! I'm Stephen Taylor

"Burned-out Healthcare Professional turned
Successful 'Work-Where-I-Want-to' Entrepreneur"

Read on, and you'll discover
how my secrets can help YOU
build ANY business Online...

BlueCollarRiches.net

If you got to this page, and you're anything like me, you've learned that working for someone else, even in a professional field like healthcare, can be dissappointing  (can anyone say "overworked and underpaid"?).  That's why I'm so passionate about helping others regain control of their own financial future - like I did when I went from "Burned-out Lab Tech" to Successful Entrepreneur who is able to work not just from home and not just the hours I choose - but work anywhere and anytime I choose!  Actually, that's why I created this myspace page in the first place.  I want to give hope to those talented entrepreneurs who have realized that being someone else's lackey, even when it comes with  like Registered Nurse or Medical Technologist a great title, is NOT the way to go. To those who may be discouraged in their attempts to take their dreams off the shelf and turn them into reality because they are not getting the kind of support and information they need to be successful.  I'll give you FREE ACCESS to some of the things I'm doing a little later.  But first, let me tell you a little bit about myself...

(Whoa, WAIT, first things first... If you are wanting to learn more about me, but you're one of those kind of people who's always nice and neat, never brings a drink out of the kitchen or dining room...this will NEVER work! I am a relaxed, laid-back kind of guy. So, if you really want to get a good feel for who I am, STOP...go grab a cup of coffee, kick your shoes off, and relax.  Life doesn't have to be so stressful.  Now, let's get started...)

hmmm... let's see...
I'm a father, son, boyfriend, and entrepreneur...all in one. (Yes, sometimes it's tough juggling all those roles.)

I was born and raised in Texas.  My family moved several times while I was growing up so I was exposed to the country life of farms and ranches and the big city places like Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio.  So I'm equally comfortable hauling hay to feed the cattle or negotiating the downtown mixmaster in Dallas.  Actually, I much prefer hauling hay.  On the mixmaster you have to haul a-- to avoid getting run over ;-)

I went straight to college out of high school. That was the expected path.  I got a BS in Biology and Administration with a minor in Chemistry.  Somewhat by default I ended up working the laboratory of a hospital in Dallas.  I hadn't yet learned to live my life intentionally. (Thankfully, many years later, I did learn.  But that story's for another time.) And so begin my climb...

After a few years working on the bench, I landed a position as laboratory manager at a small, rural hospital.  I thought I was on my way.  Little did I know I was really crawling out of the pan and into the fire.

Over the next 15 years I moved through the ranks of mid-level managers and ended up being the CEO/Administrator at a couple of different hospitals.  Let me tell you, being at the top in that kind of setting isn't all it's cracked up to be.  Like the saying says, it's lonely up there!

During that time the healthcare industry was going through some tremendous changes.  The pressure was unimagineable!  Cost cutting measures by the federal government made it almost impossible for smaller hospitals to remain viable. Hospitals there in Texas were closing at the rate of 2-3 a week.  There were times I didn't know the night before if we'd have enough money in our payroll account to make payroll the next day.  Talk about keep you up at night!  Having employess depending on you and your decisions to help them keep food on their table and a county depending on you to help maintain healthcare services, well, it was enough to make a grown man cry... And make him sick... And put him in ICU with chest pain!  It was really tough.

I parlayed my success there into another CEO position at another hospital with a better facility and for more pay.  The usual reasons for moving.  Again, I thought it was another step up the ladder.

After a year of helping that hospital through a series of building projects and some staffing issues, I was at a board meeting.  This hosptial was similar to a county hospital and run by a board of directors elected by the people from the local community.  On that afternoon, the president of the board asked to talk to me after the meeting.  That wasn't unusual.  We often discussed things after the board meetings.   But this time it was different...

"Steve", he said, "we've decided to let you go.  We've got someone else in mind for the position."  (Turned out the someone else was a friend of several of the board members who needed a job so he wouldn't have to move!)

**BOOM!**

Just like that, I was out.  After all the years of hard work, long hours, blood, sweat, and tears, I was fired so someone with NO experience could have the job.  I was devestated!

I decided to leave the healthcare field. I was totally burned out.  I'd always wanted to own my own business. So, I bought a restaurant.  That lasted about 3 years.  It was a successful venture.   I made money.  But I had NO freedom.  When the doors were open, I had to be there.  I had absolutely no time to travel and do the things I enjoy.

I started looking at MLM and network marketing.  I liked the business model so I decided to give it a try.  I was involved in a couple of different opportunities and I made enough money to show me the value of residual income.  But it was almost impossible to grow my business.  The company was still doing things old school.  You know, diagrams on a white board, calling people you don't know, chasing family and turning friends into enemies.  I knew there had to be a better way.  With all the advances in technology and the internet, I knew there had to be a way to use those advances to successfully build a network marketing business.

I begin looking online and one of my first discoveries was Mike Dillard and his Magnetic Sponsoring way of doing business.

No more chasing friends...

No more trying to "trick" my family...

No more trying to "warm up" strangers at the gas pump!

Then I discovered Direct Sales and the G.P.T. way of doing business.  And I learned about Web 2.0 and ways to market my business for free.

My Business Exploded!

Now, I travel and work where I want to, when I want to.  You can see from my pictures above on the left that I love the outdoors.  This business has given me the financial and time freedom to live my life like I never thought possible!

I want others to experience that kind of freedom in their life.  My vision is to help others to achieve the freedom to live their life the way they choose, not the way someone else chooses for them.  Whether they want to hate their job and want to quit it or love what they do but need a way to get free of the financial quagmire that keeps them from enjoying it, I want to help them turn those dreams into reality.

So, I provide FREE Web2.0 Marketing Training.

Now, if you're reading this, and you're thinking YOU want to be a work-where-you-want-to person, YOUR tired of the long hours and high stress for low pay, or YOU'D like to fire your boss before he fires you...
