Bluecollar Suicide formed in February 2007 when Marcum Stewart, Kenny Knight, Scott Church and Dave Davis formed a new Tennessee based Modern Rock Band.
BCS had several goals in mind and that was to write heavy melodic yet catchy rock songs, record a CD that would be competitive in today’s music market and play as many shows as possible. They have succeeded with these goals so far.
Since the inception of the band, BCS has played most of Nashville and Middle TN’s top concert clubs and is currently looking to branch out of state and even open for national acts.
BCS recorded their debut CD entitled "Dirt Inside of Me" at The Switchyard in Nashville, TN and the band released Dirt at a much anticipated CD Release party in Nashville on August 15, 2009. With such songs as the title track, Last of the Superstars, Reign On Me, Tired, Down Below, Far Away From Home and the super-ballad Unbroken; BCS have taken their songs to the masses finally. Dirt is soon to be featured on such airwaves as Metal Monthly in Texas, Metalhead radio in Anaheim, CA, Hastings Bookstores, several local radio stations and on iTunes along with various other digitally distributed stores.
BCS also has been a major force in performing benefit concerts for Relay for Life, The Children’s Miracle Network and the David Patton Cancer Fund.
