Here's Scott and his partner-in-crime, Aaron dressed in drag to the hilt! They are performing "Good Little Girls" for a benefit performance for cancer:
Blue County! The best new band.
Then I also love soft rock/pop. Oldies are great. Lived through that era. 60's and 70's music.
Did you know that some of your very favorite songs actually contained hidden messages? Here are some and what you need to do to get these varied messages:
1. .."Paperback Writer," The Beatles:
Listen carefully to the backing vocals during verse 2. They are singing "Frere Jacques"--no lie!
2. "I Gave You My Bullets, You Gave Me Your Love," My Chemical Romance:
On the outside of the CD, where the duplication warning normally is, it says, "Unauthorised duplication is a violation of applicable laws and will result in Gerard coming to your house and sucking your blood."
3. "Helena," My Chemical Romance:
Play the song backwards and listen closely. The song talks about (supposedly) Gerard's grandmother, which is ironic since his Grandmother had died a few months before the album came out.
4. "My Sweet Lord," George Harrison/The Beatles:
Toward the end of the song the background vocalists switch from singing, 'Hallelujah' to 'Hari Krishna', reflecting George Harrison's religious interests at the time.
5. "So Long, Frank Lloyd Wright," Simon and Garfunkel:
Near the end of the song (about 2:55) you can hear Paul Simon calling out "So long, Arty". The song was written for Art Garfunkel (who sings it) because Art said Paul Simion couldn't write a song about his favorite architect. It was the last song they recorded for a long time, so the 'so long' was true. The song is as much about Art as Frank.
6. "Several Species of Small Furry Animals...," Pink Floyd:
If you play it slower, you can hear Roger Waters say, "That was pretty avant garde, wasn't it?"
7. "Girl," The Beatles:
Listen very carefully to what the background vocalists are singing during the middle section, and you will discover what John Lennon really likes about the girl which he is singing about!
8. "Weird Al Yankovic," Weird Al Yankovic:
Look on the inner groove of the vinyl LP version. You'll find the words: "Don't forget to eat your broccoli!"
9. "Green," R.E.M.:
On the album cover, you can see a glossy number 4 over the letter R in R.E.M. and Green. In the track listing on the back, the fourth track is numbered with the letter R instead of a 4.
