Behold the Hemicuda, my dream car...
... someday, it will be mine...
...as will this example of gorgeous machinery....
...and this one too. And you better believe I will drive each and every one of them...
Music
Alice Cooper, AC-DC, Aerosmith, Vixtrola, Jonathan Coulton, Tomandandy, Charlie Clouser, Jerry Goldsmith, John Barry, Richard Bellis, Brian Tyler, John Williams and Elliot Goldenthal. I liked James Horner up until Deep Impact. After that, his self-plagurizing become too much to stomach. The themes for the Phantasm movies are so frickin' awesome. If anyone ever finds the score for those movies let me know!
... because Reggie knows music. It's hot as love.
Movies
Horror, Comedy, Action and Sci-Fi. Will always have a soft spot for Joe Dante, George Romero, John Carpenter, Victor Salva, Sam Raimi, Wes Craven, James Cameron and Steven Spielberg. Recently have been captivated by Don Coscarelli's Phantasm series of movies (featuring the bad ass Reggie Bannister) and the Re-Animator movies starring Jeffrey Combs. Recently saw a shitload of new movies, some bad and some good. For those of you who remember, I'm still searching for the worst movie ever made. I've only got 2 finalists so far, namely Dark Harvest 2 and Vampires vs. Zombies. A lot of you might ask, "Hey, what about Uwe Boll?" I say he is beyond criticsm anymore. He simply is, and always shall be and I might as well get mad at a dog for crapping on my floor. Favorite guilty pleasure? Time Chasers.
Although, Illegal Aliens starring the late Anna Nicole Smith and Joanie Laurer was really bizarre... oddly enough, directed by the same guy as Time Chasers, David Giancola!
Television
Mystery Science Theater 3000, Kolchak, The Wild Wild West, MASH, Wings, Firefly, Kids in the Hall, The Cosby Show, The X-Files, Star Trek Voyager, Stargate SG-1, Moonlighting, Friends, Mork & Mindy, Family Ties and Kingdom Hospital.
Books
Stephen King's "IT"
Dean Koontz's "Watchers" & "Lightning"
"Make Love! The Bruce Campbell Way" by Bruce Campbell,
"The Boys From Brazil" by Ira Levin, "Slaughterhouse 5" by Kurt Vonnegut and "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" by James Thurber.
Heroes
My dad, Alex Ross, Alan Dean Foster, Bruce Campbell, Reggie Bannister, Tim Curry, Harrison Ford and Tony Todd.

Above: Commissioned art, "THE TALL MAN." Created with graphite, acrylics, watercolor, inks, markers and photoshop 2009.
Above: Commissioned art, "198 MOVIES." Created with graphite, acrylics, watercolor, airbrush and inks. "This is a Mystery Science Theater 3000" parody of Frank Zappa's film, "200 MOTELS" and it took almost a year to complete due to the sheer volume of characters involved. Finished right at the beginning of 2006, this was the first true poster I had ever done. There's no digital painting involved, and the style is very '70's cartoon-looking.

Welcome to my MySpace page. Here you'll see a collection of my artwork, a portfolio built over the last 10 years. Recently, my work has shifted focus to independent film. The photos seen on the left side of this page are posters for film projects I am working on, all in various stages of completion. I'm a traditional artist, but my technique is something of a bastardization of portrait drawing, painting and digital painting in Photoshop. This allows me to do a lot more in terms achieving a photorealistic composition as opposed to simply working in wet media.

Above: A variant poster for Merle Johnson's film, TRINITY
Above: The release poster for Chad Clinton Freeman's SUPER UNDEAD DOCTOR ROACH. Very funny stuff.
Above: The poster for Nightmare Collection 2.
Above: This is a multimedia project wherein I photographed starship models I built and detailed myself from a kit, then photographed them and inserted them into a painted background. I added painted foreground elements and the digitally painted over the photographs to see if I could merge photography and art together.
Above: Character study of Lester Dobbs, aka The Trainman in full costume.
Below: Character study of Max, a main character in "Trainman." Lissa Slasher modeled for the character after which I drew, painted, airbrushed and digitally painted the portrait.
One of my personal projects is an illustrated horror novel titled Trainman. I just posted some cover design ideas and design elements on the main character in the pic gallery. The design work for this book is very different from my other projects as it is more realistic and gritty. I've been using models as a reference for the art, myself as the Trainman and then Scarlet Salem, Elske McCain and Lissa Slasher as models for the female leads in the story. It's a rare treat to have actual actresses from the horror genre put a face to the characters.
Finally, there's Carnivale Ex Mortis and Ginger-Stein. The former is another illustrated horror yarn in early development while Ginger-Stein can be found here on MySpace. It's a multi-media project based around the titular character, and as of recently there's been new developments to bring Ginger to life in Nightmare Collection 2. After a casting call, actress Shannon Lark was chosen to play the role of Ginger in the film, and possibly in a solo movie. Check out Ginger's page (she's in my top friends) and stay tuned for more updates.
Stop by the gallery and leave some comments. I'm always open to feedback.

Who I'd like to meet: I'd like to meet Reggie Bannister, Mark McKinney and Bruce Campbell.
