Blue Funk is a band born on the bayous of Houston Texas. Influenced by everything from blues to jazz to soul to glam to funk to daylight to moonlight, Blue Funk isn't just a band, it's an experience. When you see them play, when you listen to the music, when you feel you're in a different place that you've never been before, you'll know what a Blue Funk is. You'll be in a Blue Funk Zone.

Joe and the rest of Blue Funk, your old drummer says, "how's it going?" :) Well, you know, just referring to myself in the third person for when we hit the big time, yeah whatever. I'm planning on coming out to see you on Saturday night. If you can, come see us (The Distracted)on Friday, Dec. 19th. We are playing Fitzgerald's downstairs. Doors open at 8; we go on at 9:30.
