Bio
Note: The Blue Hour is currently on hiatus. Keith moved to Brooklyn and is unsure whether or not the blue hour will continue. Keith is currently playing bass with ..Anthem In.. and finishing up the album that was intended to be a blue hour album... there is a chance is still may be. Tracy is playing bass in ..The Preakness... John and Joey are in Atlanta making music, and Michael (Bentley) is playing in the ..The Five Foot Flame... END NOTE. .... ..The Blue Hour.. consists of lush soundscapes, vivid lyrics, swelling guitar parts and driving bass lines. The songs are at times quiet and intimate and at others epic and cathartic. You can shove the "emo" tag line up your ass ,these jams are expressive and passionate and at times even joyful. Expect something completely genuine and heartfelt without the marketing, and the bullshit and the rhetoric. It's simple and often broad and enveloping in the sweetest way possible..... We just returned from Minneapolis where we recorded 13 brand new tracks with Knol Tate of Askeleton fame. A bit more recording is happening here in Atlanta, and the songs will be mixed back up there in late September. A 7" single should be expected in the winter and the full-length right behind in the Spring. This is super exciting for us as it has been forever and a day since "i've filled up these pages" came out. Expect something completely new. -
