What makes Jeff Healey different from other blues-rockers is also what keeps some listeners from accepting him as anything other than a novelty -- the fact that the blind
guitarist plays his Fender Stratocaster on his lap, not standing up. With the guitar in his lap, Healey can make unique bends and hammer-ons, making his licks different and more elastic than most of the competition. Unfortunately, his material leans toward standard AOR blues-rock, which rarely lets him cut loose, but when he does, his instrumental prowess can be shocking.
Healey lost his sight at the age of one, after developing eye cancer. He began playing guitar when he was three years old and began performing with his band Blues Direction at the age of 17. Healey formed the Jeff Healey Trio in 1985, adding bassist Joe Rockman and drummer Tom Stephen. The trio released one single on their own Forte record label, which led to a contract with Arista Records. The Jeff Healey Trio released their debut album, See the Light, in 1988 and the guitarist immediately developed a devoted following in blues-rock circles. Featuring the hit single "Angel Eyes," the record went platinum in the U.S. While the Jeff Healey Trio's subsequent records have been popular, none have been as successful as the debut.
As the 21st century dawned, Healey began to change his direction. He taught himself to play the trumpet and began to lean to the kind of traditional 1920s and 1930s jazz that had always fascinated him. He released two classic jazz albums, 2002's Among Friends and 2004's Adventures in Jazzland, on his own HealeyOphonic label, and while he continued to do some shows in his old blues-rock style, he increasingly gigged with his jazz combo the Jazz Wizards. His first album of jazz to see wide release was It's Tight Like That, which appeared on Stony Plain in 2006. ~
The Jeff Healey Band is back. 'Nuff said.

Hey The jeff h.., I just bought you on Buy your Friends. Follow the link below to see how much you're worth:
Thanks Jeff for your music, you were a great musician and artist. Your music will be forever between us. If I play guitar now is thanks for people like you. Many Thanks!
Hey...really good to know you and your music! We came up at different times...I started with blues/soul, dabbled with rock, got really into swing /standards ...ended up in cabaret for the money... now want to get back to bluesy rock. Your guitar/voice do really gently weep!
A site for bands, fans, and dj's. Here it is! The first ranking system that actually pays and offers free mp3 downloads! It's simple, bands register to see their ranking and fans vote to get free mp3 downloads. Everybody wins! The top band at the end of every month gets 25% of the revenue made by the site in that month. A random band is also chosen and gets 10% of the revenue for that month. Also a random fan is chosen and they get 5% of the revenue made by the site for that month. It's a win, win, win situation for all!!!
so sorry about that I must have told you the wrong one.
That's funny because I tried that one a while ago too, the one I gave you, and it made me all crazy because they sucked real bad, and they didn't pay too good either they offered like contests and stuff instead of money.
But anyways, the working site is
E X T R A 1 2 . COM
it's the one I am pulling in $700 a week with putting in about 24 hours a week, sometimes up to like 30 hours if I'm motivated.
After you get your membership make sure you register with with the companies on page one in the members section because they are the ones that pay the big bucks, I got $50 for one that took me 50 minutes today. You'll see what I'm talking about when you start.
Jessica started taking them too and she's making $700 a week, it's making me so mad because I'm the one that showed her which one to sign up with now she's making more than me.
Alright well me and Tim are getting ready to leave now, just give me a call or I'll see you on here and let me know if you have any problems with your membership. bye now
Best wishes from Devils Creek - Glad to have you as a friend here on myspace. The great thing about myspace is that you can link up with kindred spirits!.
"Here's something a bit different. These guys are heavily influenced by Rory Gallagher, Status Quo and early 70's British bluesy hard rock. They've got a great groove in the rhythm section, a fine guitarist in Guy Rosewall, and their album 'Bullfrog Blues' is recommended! The album includes a rockin' take on Rory's "Seven Days". Definitely not another SRV clone"
"The band is driven beautifully by Terry Brown on drums and Tim Chapple on bass, the latter laying down a stomping beat on every number.......... on the showing of this album I would strongly recommend them" (Ian McKenzie - Blues In The South).
ROCKING THE BLUES WITH A SLEDGEHAMMER GROOVE – THIS ENGLISH TRIO TAKE THE RORY GALLAGHER / HENDRIX BLUEPRINT AND BRING IT KICKING AND SCREAMING TO A TOWN NEAR YOU.
