The Blue Lantern open mic night was founded in the year 2000 by one Neal Thompson and his friend Laura (Mooi), giving the good folk of Wrexham a chance to show off their song-writing skills to peers and perfect strangers. Over the years many stars have come and gone but the lantern still burns bright. After being hosted successfully by Andrew (Gwildor) for a time, followed by a short break in proceedings, Neal is once again at the helm.
Come along, bring your preferred instrument and show us what you've got. We have an excellent sound system operated by a variety of excellent sound engineers, and a candle-lit atmosphere for your pleasure.

If you want a guaranteed slot to play a song or two then please arrive before 9.30pm.
The bar is open until 12.15am.
It makes no difference if you can only strum 3 chords or if you are some kind of musical genius! Everyone is welcome to have a go!
