A chance meeting at a West Coast recording studio brought together the two creative forces that make up Bluelight. Singer-musician Andréa Hector and producer Lin Gardiner developed a solid friendship, which led them to combine their musical and writing talents.

The EP comprises four pieces of sonic magic: drawing influences from Goldfrapp and Portishead, Gardiner’s background in slick pop, R&B and electronica production blends seamlessly with Hectors more indie roots.
The title track ‘I See Fine’ (featured in underground dyke spy spoof movie 'Jane Blonde') is an atmospheric soundtrack to the duo’s lives, followed by the up-tempo, edgy and cathartic ‘Take You Down’. Next is the beautiful, reflective ‘No Pearls of Wisdom’, with the EP finishing on the melancholic ‘We Always Knew’.
