Influences
Third World - I saw them on one of those old late-night music shows after getting home from playing out live (in about 1981), and they just blew me away! I love these guys! And apparently they are still around!;
Soul Syndicate - These guys are awesome too, and one song stands out for me, "There's a Fire" - I used to just let that play over and over!
Bob Marley - far from alone here, obviously he has had a huge influence on the whole genre, reaching into the whole music scene.
Sounds Like
I was influenced by Third World, Soul Syndicate and Bob Marley. And a whole lot of others!
