My Father was the most hardest working, toughest, fair, and honest guy I ever knew. Yngwie J Malmsteen, Ritchie Blackmore, Gary Moore, Wes montgomery, Pat Martino, Steve Vai, Joe Stump, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eric Johnson, Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Robin Trower, Alvin Lee, Albert Collins, Johnny Winter, Duke Robillard, Ronnie Earl and Johnny Tamer. Their are just so many great players I listen to them all. Just play your ass off. Less is less and more is more. Never studied formerly. Growing up we never really had money so school was out. Jaco Pastorious used the phrase formally self taught. I taught myself to read music, bass and treble clef and studied books on theory and scales and harmony. I still Practice every day and learn everything I can. Now I teach to help support the income. Play 100- 150 dates a year for the last 15 years. No matter how bad the music business sucks I still find peace in Playing. I would rather be rejected for who I am, Than accepted for who I am not. A strong leader rids him or her of negative influences such as negative persons. Negative people will rob you of your dreams and energy and weigh you down like trying to swim with your legs in hardened concrete. They are a cancer on our team or in your personal life. Cut them Out! I find that one person is never more important than the Music, self Importance is a cancer self esteem is a good thing. Never think too highly of oneself, keep the importance on the work the rest will fall into place. Furthermore, a true leader must keep his mind and abilities sharp Dicpline and focus are important. Practicing is my priority not something I find time for, I make time to practice and love every minute of it. I am Happy to say to make a living doing what you love is a gift, so I try to keep that in front of myself. I guess you could say I am a very rich man and very fourtunate. I have people in my life who I love and who love me. Its funny, the older I get the more I believe in dreams and spirituality, and that is not some old cliche but very true if you nurture that belief.Some people embrace it, some resent it. So don't compromise your true beliefs for anything. Keep on learning and moving forward. I think tragedy Has a profound way of shaping beliefs and definitely humbles and teaches that we are not in charge.

Hi Greg Hodde’s Blue Reign! Heaven & Earth is on hiatus now as Stuart Smith and Richie Onori have joined forces with bassist Steve Priest to reform "Sweet". For those of you unfamiliar with the band, Sweet originally formed in the early 70s and went on to sell over 40,000,000 albums with 11 International Top Ten Hits such as "Ballroom Blitz", "Little Willy", "Love is Like Oxygen", "Fox on the Run", "Teenage Rampage", "Action", "Blockbuster", "Hellraiser" and many others.
This reincarnation of the band reformed last year, playing their first show in June, and went on to play festivals throughout Canada and the States and had played to over 300,000 people before the year was out. During this tour last year they recorded a live CD available on Amazon entitled "Sweet, Live in America" which has received rave reviews - pick up a copy and please Add Sweet As Your Friend On Myspace!
