Alligator records and artist management president, Bruce Iglaur, reviewed the Blue Moon Blues Band 2007 CD: "Cool, Cool River on December 1, 2007.
* Tasteful vocals with some lounge feel. Very enjoyable.
* Harp is tasteful and well executed.
* Musicianship is very good, the grooves are tight and the production is very professional.
* I find your approach well done and urbane.
* Very confident performance.
* I have to say that I'm very impressed by the musicianship in the whole band, including the guest keyboard player. I'm sure I'd enjoy seeing the band live, as everyone plays so well. And, believe me, I'm not easy with complements.

The band's third CD "Cool Cool River" was released in January 2007 and is comprised of mostly original music as well as a few carefully reworked Blues and R&B covers.
