BLUE NOISE nasce dal fortunato incontro, su un palco di Verona, tra il chitarrista Lello Panico e l’armonicista e vocalist Tollak ,che, pur provenendo da due mondi diversi, si sono trovati a condividere lo stesso universo musicale e a concretizzarlo in un progetto artistico... L'album contiene brani originali, scritti a quattro mani da Panico e Tollak, oltre alla personalissima rilettura di alcuni nuovi classici del soul... L'amicizia e la collaborazione artistica che li legano, ha indotto Tollak a sottoporre una demo all'ascolto del grande JIMMY HASLIP, bassista dei mitici Yellow Jackets. Lo stesso ha talmente gradito che ha espresso il desiderio di suonare in uno dei brani e ha chiamato a raccolta ROBBEN FORD e RUSSEL FERRANTE. Il risultato è nelle tracce di GLORY DAYS. .. TOLLAK è un musicista di grande talento che negli ultimi tempi ha lasciato il segno con la sua armonica in tutti i progetti e albums in cui ha lavorato. Michael McDonald, Earth, Wind & Fire, Natalie Cole, Al Jarreau, Andrea Bocelli, Seal, Gino Vanelli, Cristopher Cross, sono alcuni dei nomi con i quali ha collaborato. Straordinario cantante, ottimo pianista, Tollak è uno dei più grandi armonicisti in circolazione. .. Guitarist Lello Panico and singer multi-instrumentalist Tollak met at Euro bass day in Verona in 2005, they immediately felt a connection that developed in the following months into the musical project that has become the first album of the band “Blue Noise” which also features as guest artists the legendary ROBBEN FORD, JIMMY HASLIP and RUSSELL FERRANTE from Yellowjackets fame, among other things. The album contains original compositions cowritten by Lello and Tollak as well as highly creative interpretations of various soul classics, creating a hypnotic sound that is truly all their own. .. .. Tollak is a musician of immense talent (American now living in Europe) who has in recent years left his mark with his harmonica playing on an incredible list of major artists projects.
