About Blue Noise old myspace

Blue noise is a currently unsigned indie alternative rock band that got together in 2006. The band is based in Cheltenham/winchcombe and is made up of Joe on vocals and guitar, Adam on bass, Matt on rhythm guitar and Will on drums. They have recently started to get a steady stream of local gigs, from which they received outstanding responses, and have won two battle of the band competitions, one at westonbirt school and one for severn sound at the windmill in Gloucester. As a result of winning these competitions they have won 2 free days in a new recording studio called 'Modern World Studios' Which is one of the best outside london, costing £600 a day!!!

Blue Noise - (PLEASE READ OUR FINAL BLOG)	Jan 23 2008 8:11 PM Blue noise are Gloucestershire’s fastest up and coming indie rock band as hailed by severn sound. their live performances are showcases of the energy, commitment and charisma of their music, which is lyrically existential and musically both raw and sensitive, explosive and dynamic. having playied in front of 4000 people at the severn sound firework display and at the chalgrove festival last year they have been extremely well received. Playing at top local venues, and now being invited further a field with gigs in London, oxford and Swindon. They will be playing cheltenhams largest music festival “wychwood” in may 2008.

At the mo we havt got any definate gigs but I think we've just entered a battle of the bands in chipping sodbury, we've applied to ashton ocurt festival (fingers crossed!) and hopefully we will be playin a festival in brighton sometime in summer.
