"Really gorgeous little 7", both compositions really stand out from the acoustic troubadour playing field, making Blue Rose Code something worth keeping an eye on."
Boomkat.com
"John Martyn's inspiration is easy to hear in Blue Rose Code, an outfit whose youth belies the maturity of their sound. Tight melodies and jazzy flourishes make their sun-kissed sound one to listen out for."
The Herald
"Gorgeous Celtic-inflected acoustic folk outfit."
Time Out
"Left-of-centre, jazz-tinged folk and the distinctive soulful Celtic scatting of frontman, Ross Wilson."
The Electroacoustic Club
"...making waves on the London alt-folk scene. Not quite folk, not quite soul, they'll draw you right in."
The ICA
"There's a gentle embrace for your ears running through every chord. If this is the calibre of talent signed by Ho Hum then I can't wait for more."

Hey Blue Rose Code!!! I love the new version of Whitechapel!! Before i was really angry when you had the version up with the loong violin solo. Im looking forward to hearing your album!! Please come to Sweden! Cheers/Sam, violinist in Monde Yeux
Loved the set on Friday at the Union Chapel - totally agree with others that the great venue suited you down to the ground. Hey what about some dates outside of London - head West young lads and lassies, come to Bristol!
What a brilliant set on the 13th at the Union Chapel! What you said about it being a special night was right on the money: a great venue, an appreciative audience (well for Southerners anyway ;-p).... and best of all the opportunity to discover great new bands like your good selves!
Looking forward to seeing you again..... will have to see if I can get a "pass out" for the Electroacoustic gig next week!
