About me:
Blues Rules is the very first underground blues festival of Switzerland, and one of the rare in all Europe. Blues Rules is dedicated to the Delta Blues style.
Scheduled on a three days week-end during 2010 spring, it will take place in the Crissier Castle in Lausanne Crissier, in Switzerland, a few steps from the Geneva Lake, between Geneva and Montreux.
During those 2 days, the biggest names of the Delta Blues family will play on the site stage. Coming there from all around the world, artists will share with a fascinated and enthusiastic audience this more festive and electric stylish blues than the others traditional ones.
Some others styles, like satellites to this Delta Blues family, will join the party and complete the program of the festival.

Blues Rules, c’est le premier festival suisse, et un des rares festivals européens, dédié au Delta Blues.
Prévu sur 2 jours au printemps 2010, il se déroulera au Château de Crissier, dans le canton de Vaud.
Tout au long de ces 2 jours, les plus grands noms de la scène Delta Blues se produiront sur la scène du site. Venus du monde entier, ces artistes partageront avec le public ce style de blues plus festif et électrique que les autres formes de blues.
D’autres styles musicaux, satellites au Delta Blues, viendront compléter la programmation, afin de la rendre plus éclectique, tout en respectant les racines du genre.

Who are we?
Vincent:
With his Product Designer background, he’s doing a lot of graphic design for his own activities. He works as a communication manager and event organiser, and spends most of his free time travelling between his different passions and hobbies such as exploring the world, the music, the people, and all forms of art. He likes encounters and discoveries.
His talent for graphic design and his fascination for Delta Blues are his big contribution to this new born blues festival, so far from the Mississippi Hills, but so close from the higher Swiss ones.
Now it's time for him to bring his new family into the center of Europe.
Thomas:
As a specialist in event creation and management, he’s producing since 11 years the worlwide festival THE NIGHT OF THE ADEATERS®.
He’s bringing to the Blues Rules Festival his long-experienced savoir faire and his great passion for jazz, blues, and black music.
As he’s living in Crissier Castle, he’s at the heart of this project. Writer, scriptwriter, DJ, and great connoisseur of Southern Comfort, he should have dreamed of be born 50 years sooner in order to create the Montreux Jazz Festival. Anyway, he will create Blues Rules, 30 kms away from Montreux, as living tribute. And to show to the world that after the Mississippi banks, the Léman shores are definitively the House of Jazz & Blues.
