Blue Sandcastle is the former band of Last Charge of the Light Horse songwriter Jean-Paul Vest and drummer Erik Schuman. Originally formed in Denton, TX in 1994, the group broke up after a year but then re-formed in 2000 after a chance meeting in a NYC nightclub.
