About me:
Blues Before Sunrise is a weekly program broadcast by Castledown Radio, with the aim of providing an introduction to the world of the Blues. The programme is written, produced and presented by Luke Sperry. All mistakes are his own. The programme features a ‘featured artist’ each week; a well-known or unsung ‘hero’ of the blues, complete with potted history and three key tracks. Blues Before Sunrise attempts to take in all related styles from Gospel to Soul, Rock to, well, anything Luke feels like playing. The show is broadcast every Tuesday at 8pm. Luke is happy to take requests. Castledown Radio is a community radio station based near Tidworth, Wiltshire, almost entirely run by volunteers, which aims to foster community relations, as well as providing a newsletter and involvement with the annual Tidworth Area Festival. http://www.castledownradio.info bluesbeforesunrise@hotmail.co.uk When are we on?
