The BLUESBERRY JAM BAND came together at a time of "open mics and jam sessions" in Jackson, Tennessee. This formaton started during September, 2004 and developed into a mixture of 5 guys all over 50 years of age with a total of approximately 138 years total experience with a range of 3 to 40 years experience and within a radius of 25 miles of Jackson, Tennessee where many of legends of the blues came from and played at, including such bluesmen that called Jackson and Brownsville, Tennessee their home.
A couple of the most experienced have played with Denise LaSalle crossing the USA and overseas tours. The others have worked extensively with many well known local groups across the West Tennessee areas.
The BLUESBERRY JAM BAND began with an interest in charitable events, bike nights, and following the "chittlin circuit" of performers from years ago. The music is built upon the delta blues style with a mixture of some of the 60's and 70's for the die hard baby boomers. The style and performers soon won over different cultures and age generations.
Today, the BLUESBERRY JAM BAND concentrates on having fun, working festivals, doing as many charitable events as possible and staying out on the "chittlin circuit" from time to time.

These veteran players love jammin’, and Sissy Strut is becoming a fan favorite on YouTube, AOL, MySpace and FaceBook. United as brothers in the roots of Blues, Jazz, R&B, Soul, Funk, Gospel and American Rock.
