BLUESBOUND - Back to the Wild Sixties' rough & tough Rhythm & Blues - Im Herbst 2004 fasste der berliner Gitarrist Klaus-Jürgen Pohl den Entschluss, eine Bluesrock-Combo, wie er sie schon in den Endsechzigern betrieben hat, aufzubauen. Das Ziel: die vielen Einflüsse und die Erfahrungen aus Sessions mit Blues-Urgesteinen, wie Champion Jack Dupree, Alexis Korner und vielen anderen, sowie seinen sich daraus geformten Gitarrenstil in die heutige Zeit zu transportieren. Nach und nach fanden sich die nötigen Mitspieler ein, den Sound zu machen, den er sich vorstellte. Das dauerte seine Zeit und verschiedene Besetzungen mussten durchprobiert werden. Aber, was lange währt, wird endlich gut! Tom Aumeier an den Tasten, Didi Bernek, der Tieftöner und Luck Willecke am Schlagzeug machen das Quartett voll. Das Repertoire von BLUESBOUND umfasst Rock- und Blues-Traditionals, denen die Band den eigenen Stempel in der Art der späten 60er-Jahre aufdrückt, sowie Eigenkompositionen.
