Blue Screams of Death is an experimental noise jazz collective, born August 30, 2006, with its first live gig on September 1 - two days later. Based around the flowing, non sequenced electro patterns of Ghost, on the antique analog drumbox, and the rapidfire polyrhythms of percussionist Flo, on a number of handmade instruments, including a suspended wired up car tyre, rhythmic, flowing architectures and "found" soundscapes are driven by the interplay between B. who plays a multitude of instruments and the classically trained saxes of Diarmid.
At the front of the stage there are two polyvalent and distinctive voices: Nol, the human digeridoo and abstract live word machine, and Martin, a songwriter, performer and poet, who conduct the left and right sides of the brain on a tour around the dark corners of the human psyche and the solar system.
