Blues Crossing began our musical journey sometime back in early 2004. We both love playing acoustic music, especially the blues. Our musical journey is a blend of acoustic, rock, americana, roots and a whole bunch of genuine homegrown sounds all of our own. We record all of our songs at Blue Sulfur Studio in Ona, West Virginia and Valley View Studio in Milton, West Virginia on a BOSS BR1600 digital recorder. We hope you find a song or two that you like and take the time to give us a little feedback. Peace, Mike&Ray **************************************************************** .. .. .. .. .. With 5 cats and 3 dogs hangin' around at all times you have to expect a 'happy accident' now and then! Woof! Woof! Meeeowww! No need to worry though as no animals were harmed in the process... Thanks to Debbie Hensley and Karen Lyzenga and everyone else who loves and supports our music. A great big thank you to Paul Callicoat and the gang at Route 60 Music. A special shout out to Ken Bailey and Tim Ratcliff of www.WestfieldRecording.com in Ironton, Ohio and to our www.garageband.com buddy Peyote Sky down in FLA. May he always keep the sand in his toes and his head full of prose! Also to Sonny Ward for all the help and great lyrics and to our good friend Jim Matthews of the Nut and Bolt Band from Sunderland, UK we say hey and thanks for everything!....... Peace, Mike & Ray **************************************************************** We are currently in the studio working on our 2nd cd, ONE MORE MILE, which should be up and running sometime in late 2011......................................... We have a bunch of songs to choose from and it's kinda like saying... which baby do we want to send to college and which baby do we tell... go get a job!... it's a tuff decision but we're in the process right now of picking the tunes so hopefully after the songs we're looking at get paired down we'll send it out to our buddy down in Ashland, KY and he'll have a couple hundred copies for us to give away... I mean... does anybody actually buy cd's any more? **************************************************************** .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. You may hear a little Stevie Ray, or Mark Knopfler, or Jonny Lang, or The Allman Brothers, or Delta, Chicago, or Memphis blues or somebody or something we haven't even thought of yet. Let us know ok? We just play what we know as good as we can play it and if we make a mistake then we make it twice.
