With 5 cats and 3 dogs hangin' around at all times you have to expect a 'happy accident' now and then! Woof! Woof! Meeeowww! No need to worry though as no animals were harmed in the process...

We are currently in the studio working on our 2nd cd, ONE MORE MILE, which should be up and running sometime in late 2008.........................................Ok... so I lied... this is now April '09! We thought it would be ready in late '08 but we have about 50 songs to choose from and we only want to put 15 or so on the cd so... it's like asking... which baby do we want to send to college and which baby do we tell... go get a job!... it's a tuff decision but we're in the process right now of picking the tunes so hopefully after the 21 songs we're looking at get's paired down to the 15 then we'll send it out to our buddy down in Ashland, KY and he'll have a couple hundred copies for us to give away... I mean... does anybody actually buy cd's any more?

Blues Crossing began our musical journey sometime back in early 2004. We both love playing acoustic music, especially the blues. Our musical journey is a blend of acoustic, rock, americana, roots and a whole bunch of genuine homegrown sounds all of our own.
We record all of our songs at Blue Sulfur Studio in Ona, West Virginia on a BOSS BR1600 digital recorder. We hope you find a song or two that you like and take the time to give us a little feedback.

There is currently a search for two types of bands for record label consideration.
*** Note: PLEASE IDENTIFY IF YOU ARE IN GROUP 1 OR 2 IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR RESPONSE. Emails are being reviewed by different representatives.
1. A Pop/Rock/Commercial band with female lead. Band must consist of 2 guitars (Prefer both guitar players to be of lead caliber. However, one lead and one rhythm is acceptable), keyboard/piano, bass, and drums. Lead vocal, followed by backing vocals, in that order, is a plus as it relates to other members of the group. Average age of the band cannot exceed 28 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
2. A Modern Rock band with male lead. Must be a complete band but there are no prerequisites as it relates to the make up of the band. Average age of the band cannot exceed 23 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
