Blue Sees Red is a band born and bred in the ashes of the Steel Industry. Their sound is forged in the tradition of sixties and seventies, yet hammered with the hard edge of today's rock.
Music has been buzzing through the veins of these talented musicians of Blue Sees Red since they were knee-high to a grasshopper, so its no wonder they're strongly dedicated to their work and hold their standards high. All three of the members of Blue Sees Red's parents and siblings started the boys off young. Lang grew up listening to his dad playing Hendrix and Yes, while Frank's sugar plum dreams of receiving a guitar for Christmas dancing in his head actually came true! He got his Gibson Bass and claims that he hasn't put it down since! Ritter grew up listening to his father play drums with country music bands, but found the transition into playing a "rock" beat easy. Troy states it's a "mindset of being a drummer" that was taught to him by his dad.
If you've ever been out to see one of their shows, I can guarantee you won't leave melancholy... Ben's wonderful, but sometimes-strange and elusive sense of humor works the stage well with Frank who always has some kind of comment to backhand Lang. They apparently get along so well you would confuse them as brothers... adopted of course, because each has their own style of performance that blends so well you know they're doing what they're supposed to be doing, and that's sharing their talents and performing on stage.
Basically it comes down to, Blue Sees Red is a one of the best rock bands out there in the Lehigh Valley, fun, enthusiastic, great rapport with the crowd and with eachother, just an all around good time... so get out there, check out the schedule and see these boys perform, you wont regret it!
