   About Chase Garrett
Hey everybody! My name is Chase Garrett, I'm 19 years old and play boogie woogie, blues and jazz piano. I've been playing for ten years and I absolutely love every minute of it. I recently came out with a new CD called "MRS. BLUES" which is now availble on www.cdbaby.com. I'm really excited about it and hope that you enjoy it. I've played in a few festivals this year and hope to fly to Europe soon and play there. I've gotten to know some amazing piano players over the past few years and can't wait to play with them again. They were so supportive of me and so nice. The boogie world has been very good to me so far in my travels. Well that about wraps up this section, if you want to know more just look around. Or visit me on Youtube or Facebook.

So you're learning Sloppy Drunk. Great song. Really fun to play. I fell in love with it when I was backing Jimmy Rogers on the bandstand and he did it. I listened to every version I could find before making my own. The hardest one to find was the origial Lucille Bogan version. Johnny Meister, A DJ out of Philly, sent me a tape. John "sonnyboy" Williamson had a cool version as did my hero Leroy Carr. Lots of wonderful versions. Can't wait to hear yours.
