This is almost all encompassing - as we listen to everything from all time periods and across cultures...But hmmmmm....let's see...Robert Johnson, Elmore James, Etta James, Raul Midon, Jeff Buckley, Edith Piaf, Nina Simon, Oliver Mtukudzi, John Butler Trio, White Stripes, The Cult, Kate Bush, Rory Block, Sass Jordan, Fleetwood Mac, Paranoid Social Club, State Radio, Declan DeBarra - all the great emotive muscians...ya get the idea...maybe?

On a very basic level, the music is some sort of hybrid cross of delta blues influenced-torch songs...with a kaliedescope range of other influential (to us) musicians and styles woven throughout. The sound is minimalist by choice and necessity, with a real, live organic thing going on. More than anything else the music is emotional in nature - lyrically and in intent. We want you to feel something when you listen. Something else cool we've discovered playing live is that we remind people of so many different artists across genres, and yet they all say we sound "original" Not sure what it means, exactly, to be the same, yet different - but we'll take it as compliment! We're a crazy ecclectic bunch of multi-instrumentalist that love the improv jam above all else! We play predominately originals but we've got some original takes on great classic covers.
For the most part, we just like to have fun, and nothing is more fun to us than playing music. We aren't about the perfect show, or maintaining a "band image". We're just about the music. Sit-ins welcomed!
