REVIEWS OF NEW ALBUM BIDING MY TIME Classic Rock Magazine (Blues Review Section) April 2008
RockNReel Magazine August 2008
"This is a great. I really enjoyed Biding My Time" Paul Franks BBC Radio West Midlands
"Blues Mix are ..a benchmark for the kind of accomplished blues that you can find in our capital city. If you enjoy your blues extemporised and played with joy de vivre, Blues Mix's Biding My Time will certainly be of interest." Pete Feenstra,Get Ready To Rock
"BluesMix are superb, virtuoso performances...check them out!" BluesMatters magazine
"Blues with a touch of soul..my advice is Buy This Pearl!" Bobtje Blues
"This is impressive stuff and I enjoyed every minute of 'Biding My Time' - it's a cracker and a winner as far as I'm concerned! 'Biding My Time' by Blues Mix takes the blues across the road and looks at it from the other side - a stonkin' album from a very tasty sounding band!!.." ToxicPete Music Reviews
"I enjoyed the album, it's a great set of original blues."
Charlies Hussey, BluesTrain Radio Show, Dublin City FM
"Impressive, consistent quality"
Blues in Britain Magazine (April 2008)
"There's times when I forget just what a great blues instrument the organ is. It just needed a couple of blasts from Blues Mix and their new album, "Biding My Time" to bring it all flooding back. Add some good horns, a funky bass undercurrent , that at times borders on reggae, guitar riffs, that avoid the worst clichés and you start getting the picture. In this time poor society, you'll want to do this album justice, by indulging yourself and just listening to it. It's an extravagance you can actually afford and one that'll bring it's own reward from your pleasure sensors." FATEA Magazine (Feb 2008)
"A cultured, tasteful exploration of all aspects of the genre." Keys&Chords Magazine

REVIEWS OF PREVIOUS ALBUM
EXTRACT from Blues In Britain Magazine review (August 2006) BluesMix - London Nights "Impressive ...And then you reach the song 'Why Did You Have To Go?'..The song is an epic. It commences with an emotional outpouring from Morgan's compelling minimlist sax then glides into some call and response, the likes of which would make even Page and Plant envious, between the horn and Rob Fleming's vocals....It takes a strong character to endure something so moving and a fool not to appreciate it. And it is but one song an impressive debut. Recommened - Top Pick." Jonathan Blackstaffe, Blues In Britain Magazine
"Great! Nice feel" BBC Radio
"I like your music a lot. Your Blues is fresh. I will chart your album."
Darrell Angle, KCSS91.9FM, California
"BluesMix play with a heap of soul..incorporating a wealth of skill and sincerity."

Keep doing what you do best and hopefully see you soon.
Received your new CD from your promoters; rest assured I do not just put them to one side; and then onto ebay. I listen to the CD; and if tracks fit onto a show; then I include them. I spend roughly 6 hours on a Saturday putting together my Wednesday night show. I will be playing more on future shows too; magical stuff; somewhere between Chris Duarte & Jonny Lang. If you're playing in the SW of UK let me know and I'll be there (unless of course it's a Wednesday night).
