The firm base of Jazz and Rock 'n' Roll is the Blues.
Universal in appeal, Blues has the ability to reach inside and stir things up, and we all like a good stirring. Mix a little Mississipi Delta with some Texas Blues, add some British Invasion then temper with Northewst Rock sensibilty and you get Blues Overkill. Just the right stuff in the right amounts...
Thank you very much for letting me join your circle of friends. I hope to see you out on the road real soon. Keep the blues alive and keep on keeping the faith! Peace and Love! Shirley King, Daughter of The Blues

FYI: I just received that Cow bell and Kazoo that you requested for your next album. I hope that you take my advise and record a laugh track after every guitar solo, I think it will add that certain something. See you soon - Gaylord Perry, Fuzzybutt Studios

Just got over the hangover...had to shave the 'ol tongue. What a blast I had Saturday night. You guys were tight as shit! (I know it's incorrect english but I know how you like that!) It was even awesomer (there I go again...) to see Cousin Dave and the Packwood tattoo and Michelle. Looks like you found your niche, homie. I take my hat off (unless I'm having a bad hair day) to all you boys. Now, how's that for a parentheticall speech?
