You tell us!
Though here are some things we like, that could be called influences. (There's some pretty obvious ones we probs sound like we rip off, if you can tell us what they are we'll give you a cake or something. On the other hand we probably don't sound anything like any of them, whilst I would kill to sound like some of em.. anyway, I think the main thing is that we don't sound like Reef.)
Pixies, Sonic Youth, McLusky, Icarus Line, Part Chimp, Wire, The Bronx, Minor Threat, Polysics, Shellac, And You Will Know Us By the Trail Of Dead, Ikara Colt, Les Savy Fav, At The Drive-In, Blood Brothers, Chuckle Brothers, Brainiac, Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster, Guitar Wolf, Martini Henry Rifles, The Jesus Lizard etc. You get the idea. (If you have never heard any of these bands I suggest you check em out)
Sounds Like
Shouty noisy pop punk. Though not like rubbish pop punk. We do not come from California. We do not wear big shorts of the camouflage variety.
Formed by mistake in early 2005 by rejects from the auditions for Son of Dork. Drawn together by a mutual love of the 4-3-3 formation and algebra, Blue Spring spent 4 months as a Toploader tribute band. Due to a lack of business and threats from the taxman, a re-evaluation saw a change of direction. Unfortunately before this could be realised, all original band members were killed in a bizarre accident involving a tanker full of mullerlight. The current lineup was chosen via text message lottery in late 2005 and consists of Nick (Forward; Guitar and Vocals) Pete (Midfield; Bass and Vocals) and Mike (Goal; The Drum Kit).
The music is best described as 'BransonCore'.

Yeah fucking shit weather hasn't it. Been the worst I can remember for quite some time. It's definitely not 'football down the juniors with 3 pie and chips and a crate of beer weather' is it mate?
We have a new BBQ I wana use as well. Get some kangaroo thighs whacked up on there and have a good 'ol munch. Oh yeah sorry I went into Neigbours then! No kangaroo, just burgers and sausages...but no sun = no BBQ!
Check my other pics lol, few catalogue poses in there for good measure! Gota be done!
I'm backing Newcastle for this season as well as 'The Blues.' Always been a big fan of Sam Allardyce at Bolton. Thought he did wonders with them and I'm backing him to bring some sort of success at Newcastle. He should have been the England manager - not the left overs from Sven's reign in McClaren...but that's England's loss and Newcastle's gain eh!?
Yah mate been long time, I'm unemployed, not for not trying! I've put in a few recent bar applications, but no reply. Got another one to put in to The Ashbridge and it's being re-decorated and they need new workers so hopefully the gays down there will accept me.
Must have been hard last Saturday down in Reading watching the Man UTD match...lol cheering them on in the bar looking 'sheepish' in the corner trying to remain unseen! : )
i didn't understand hald of that comment :|
I missed the fight coz my dad picked me up....but apparently my 'friends' tried to beat the guy with BIG hair up?! hmm... i know they exagerate a bit though. ha.
awesome! 9 distortion pedals at once may be soul destroying (or maybe just amp destroying!). i might get a proco turbo rat which would take me up to the grand total of 1 distortion, one fuzz and one overdrive lol. thinking of making a pedal board - do you reckon that will be hard?
ps i take it your new member plays another guitar?
that sounds good (gaining an extra member, not the aids infected handbag) - i wanna hear the noise! as soon as my exams end i will get in contact with the rising sun art centre and work out what it will take for them to let us arrange a gig.
