You tell us!
Though here are some things we like, that could be called influences. (There's some pretty obvious ones we probs sound like we rip off, if you can tell us what they are we'll give you a cake or something. On the other hand we probably don't sound anything like any of them, whilst I would kill to sound like some of em.. anyway, I think the main thing is that we don't sound like Reef.)
Pixies, Sonic Youth, McLusky, Icarus Line, Part Chimp, Wire, The Bronx, Minor Threat, Polysics, Shellac, And You Will Know Us By the Trail Of Dead, Ikara Colt, Les Savy Fav, At The Drive-In, Blood Brothers, Chuckle Brothers, Brainiac, Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster, Guitar Wolf, Martini Henry Rifles, The Jesus Lizard etc. You get the idea. (If you have never heard any of these bands I suggest you check em out)
Sounds Like
Shouty noisy pop punk. Though not like rubbish pop punk. We do not come from California. We do not wear big shorts of the camouflage variety.
Formed by mistake in early 2005 by rejects from the auditions for Son of Dork. Drawn together by a mutual love of the 4-3-3 formation and algebra, Blue Spring spent 4 months as a Toploader tribute band. Due to a lack of business and threats from the taxman, a re-evaluation saw a change of direction. Unfortunately before this could be realised, all original band members were killed in a bizarre accident involving a tanker full of mullerlight. The current lineup was chosen via text message lottery in late 2005 and consists of Nick (Forward; Guitar and Vocals) Pete (Midfield; Bass and Vocals) and Mike (Goal; The Drum Kit).
The music is best described as 'BransonCore'.
