I'm Tilden, I play (guitar, bass, mandolin, keyboards, percussion, recorder, sax), sing and create interesting noises.
Also I run sound for and play a little mandolin & guitar with CrossPoint, a fine bar band based in the Twin Cities.
I play bass with Bruce K to jazz it up in various Twin Cities drinking establishments (coffee, anyone?) using the name Who's Playing? . . .
The sounds on these songs all were created by me
. . . except Hey You Robot (distance lab) which my friend DJ Shadowkat sent me as an MP3 of drum & synth. I added bass, guitars & harmonica to turn it into the track heard here.
. . . and except Persia, which was improvised with my friends Paul (congas & warmongering) and Mike (guitar & cool head), then I sliced & diced the recording.
Finally, some words to live by -- as true for music as they are for life:
In theory there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice there is. -- Yogi Berra
