NOT about me -- Information for fans of TONY CAREY, PLANET P PROJECT, and OVER THE RAINBOW (Tony Carey era):

Fans of OVER THE RAINBOW who wish to view video clips from the 1 May 2009 show in Tokyo should visit http://www.youtube.com/katzenbenny. These clips were formerly available in my blog; however, the "embed" links have been disabled by request. Because of this, I will not use any other sources to continue posting them.

All arrangements for filming of the show were organized solely by Tony Carey with the help of his cameraman, "Katzenbenny", who generously made portions available to all of us through YouTube.

Fans of Tony Carey might also be interested in clips from his mini-tour of Sweden on 17 and 18 April 2009, during the break in Over The Rainbow's tour. The show in Stockholm, 18 April 2009, was again filmed by "Katzenbenny" and portions made available for all of fans to enjoy via his YouTube channel, http://www.youtube.com/katzenbenny. I do my best to post event invitations in my blog as early as possible. Disseminating information about live performances and/or new music releases is a priority.

Guess what? Despite the FAQs above, I'm a person in my own right, brimful of personality! ;o) I've lived quite a colorful life, and the roller coaster ride continues.

Although I hesitate to say anything specific because I dislike "pigeonholes," chances are a glance at my profile, especially the high number of my "friends," will lead you to the (correct) conclusion that I do screen music, primarily all genres of rock, for potential airplay. This involves spending an enormous amount of time tracking down the label or other distributor of an album or EP if I wish to hear more than is available on MySpace -- and in airplay quality. Because my "long, strange trip" (apologies to the Grateful Dead), both past and present, might best be termed well off the beaten path -- somewhere in the forest, actually -- I'm literally indescribable within the context of a blurb. My focus is networking with solo artists and bands (all genres, but primarily rock and blues), agents, venues that feature live music, independent radio stations and presenters, airplay copy distributors, and record labels.
