   About Bluestack
This profile was edited with Thomas' myspace editor™ V2.5 BRENDAN LOUGHREY Native of County Donegal, Ireland, Brendan came to the USA in January 1999. After having won through thousand’s of singers in Ireland to become the 2-year contracted house entertainer at The Seanachie (Storyteller) Irish Pub in Downtown Nashville, TN he moved to Chicago soon after the hugely successful release of his 1st Solo Album “Atlantic Breeze”. This record instantly launched Brendan onto the Celtic/Irish music scene here in the USA as a major vocalist and literally turned his underground career around overnight. A 20 year veteran of Live performing Brendan has perfected his stagecraft, his image and most importantly, that stunning voice. Over the years he has appeared on just about every major stage in Ireland and his appearances in his relatively short time in the USA are equally impressive and include, opening act for STING (Starwood Amphitheatre, Nashville), opening act for John Cougar Mellencamp (Tweeter Center, Chicago), official voice coach for the entire cast of the stage production of “Freedom Of The City” by Ireland’s infamous playwright Brian Friel (Dark Horse Theatre, Nashville) and many, many more. The highlight of 2004 was Brendan’s Nationally Televised (FOX Sports Network) rendition of The Star Spangled Banner from a sold out Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cub’s Baseball Team. An extremely talented, passionate and driven performer, he is a true professional and a very approachable young man. BRUCE QUINTOS Born of Irish/Filipino parents Bruce arrived into this world with a Fender Stratocaster Guitar under one arm and a full set of Highland Bagpipes under the other! Bruce who plays 7 different instruments started performing and playing lead guitar professionally at the ripe old age of 13 with the popular 60’s Chicago rock group The Shy Lads and also a little later with the rhythm & blues band Friction. Now after 28 years as a career police officer he has retired from his post as Commander In Chief from the Cook County Forest Preserve Police. Once again following his musical dream with Bluestack and as the Musical Director and current Pipe Major for The Pipes & Drums of The Emerald Society, Chicago Police. Bruce’s 44 year musical career to date has provided him with many unforgettable moments including performing with Doc Severinsen, appearing on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and having the honor of leading the Chicago Police Band onto the stage at New York’s Carnegie Hall. A true musician he has penned & arranged many compositions for major Pipe & Drum performances, he recently performed at the opening ceremony of The Special Olympics in Dublin and performed “Amazing Grace” at Ground Zero on the 1st Anniversary of 9-11. ROGER McCULLOUGH Born in Chicago in 1961 Roger comes from a family rich in Scottish/Irish heritage. His love affair with the drums began at age 7 and as day follows night he has developed into one of the Midwest’s premiere percussionist’s. Professionally trained as a child he gradually progressed into his own very distinctive style of playing and the comprehensive grasp of his surroundings enables him to perform many varied styles of music. All of the Bluestack lad’s are passionate believers in their music and Roger is no exception and after years as a top studio drummer performing everything from Rock & Jazz to Bluegrass he is once again “on the road” LIVE and loving it with Bluestack! And one of the most exciting highlights of a night with Bluestack is Roger’s drum solo which can only be seen LIVE!
