The sound is formed around lyrically focused original songs, played and sung from the heart where a folk ballad can explode into epic rock. We are on MySpace to meet all aspect of musically minded people, and to share our creative endeavors with a large community. .. .. The band has played live at The Triple Door MQ Lounge, The Crocodile Cafe, The Columbia City Theater, The High Dive, Chop Suey, The Sunset, The Comet, The Skylark Club, The Blue Moon, The Shanty Tavern, Darrell's Tavern, The Mars Bar, The Dubliner, Tost, Nectar Lounge, Tiger Lounge, The Mix, Doe Bay Cafe, The Lower Tavern (Orcas Island), The Tonic Lounge (Portland), Center Camp stage at Burning Man 2008, The Snorting Elk Cellar at Crystal Mountain Ski Area and many others in the past. Some of the bands and performers we've played with include The Moondoggies, Mars Accelerator, Half Light , C'est la Mort, The Purrs, Romance, Kira (Denmark), SeaStar, Sightseer, Half Acre Day, Gavin Guss, The Webelos, Jeremy Burk, Colin Higgins, Key Note Speaker, Amyjo Savanna, The Jesus Chords, Coulter, below blackstar, Dave Keppel, Porter Harp, The Kindness Kind, Ghost Lobby, The Quit, Cock & Swan, The End Times, and Levi Fuller. .. .. Our 4 song CD "Demos from Day at the Beach" landed at number 8 on the local music charts at the University of Washington's Rainy Dawg Radio among the likes of the Shins, Neko Case and Menomena. Blue Star Creeper is in the process of supporting a CD concept album entitled "Modern Mythology" released on it's own label (Hammer & Anvil) and is recording new material with Jack Endino (Nirvana, Soundgarden, Mudhoney etc.) at Soundhouse Studios as well as with our friend Steve Coy at Infinite Instant Studios. The band is setting up more regional shows in the Northwest and beyond. .. ..
