Bluestone Moon tastefully combines the art of soul, funk, and blues with modern pop. Hailing from the excellent music and arts community of the Twin Cities, Bluestone Moon comments on the guts of life, what’s in our minds, and what’s in our souls. With roots in gospel, blues, soul, and funk, this music just comes out of you. The band emerged out of a reformation of the Matt Johnson Band and formed its own unique soulful sound with guitarist Bobby Klein and bassist Jac Daccardi among the original members. Recently, vocalist Matt Johnson, keyboardist BJ Irmiter, and drummer Jeremy Anderson were joined by guitarist Stan Dotseth and bassist Ryan Butler. Look out for live shows and enjoy the demos.
