About Blue Productions-Studio-Songwriting-Production
My name is Alan Scobie and I am the owner of Blue Productions Recording Studio In Glasgow. I am a professional songwriter and producer with my songwriting Partner- Derek Low- Our most recent and largest project was with South American Recording Artist "Las Chicas"....www.laschicas.net. We wrote all the songs for their Debut album .."Cambiara"...which I produced at CAVA studios Glasgow with Geoff Allan Engineering. The first single reached Number 13 in the MTV South America Video Chart.
I am lucky enough to have met some fantastic musicians over the years and this has given both myself and the studio access to some amazing people who have brought so much to my songs. Not least Derek...an amazing singer in his own right but a talented songwriter as well. It is a pleasure to work with him.
Then there is Sonya Lucia Vitale....our resident and spectacular female singer...she is the Voice of Blue Productions and brings each song to life...She is a huge part we have come so far in such a short time...!
Drums are covered by my closest and longest friend...Colin Chapman....an amazing player and equally amazing friend.....He is a pretty good teacher too...!!.. He bought the studio kit and is currently teaching me to play it.
Guitar is Buddy Arbuckle...The genius of Disco (RIP Funky Man)
More recently Guitar duties are covered by David Bass...session player extrordinaire!!..
Bass guitar is Craig Strain...Frighteningly Good....and so Young!!
Programming and keyboards are me and I will soon be adding drums to my credits ...if Colin has any say in it.
My true loves are Disco and New Country...!!...But not together..!!
Prince and Nile Rodgers are my musical heroes..and Bruce Hornsby if there's piano involved!..

Yes, it does say unsigned. But it doesn't matter anymore - the labels are broke and I'm still chuggin' out recordings. My record drops in October! YIPPE!!!
