Sounds Like
1. Chet humming over pensive chords and slick trip-glitch earnest twisty programming
we spend baffling lengths of time glueing sorrowful lyrics, shy trumpet, nimble jazz and glitchy electronica together in a refined but still slightly cut and paste manner to form a sort of Chet Baker meets Massive Attack by way of Paul Simon sound which strives forward fueled by the honesty of our intentions and a small quota of smugness which acts as an adhesive.

mate. finally saw trailer for your friends film about the maradona quest. I will be buying a copy and a spare for security reasons. hope you're good lad. Long time nientay contacto Grrr
cheers for the add. i came to see you when you played with jamie woon and luminous frenzy and me and my dad both loved your sound, what a rarity to reach. keep it up and i'll keep listening X
Hey guys, I've been listening to your promo cd a lot in the last weeks; I still really enjoy it. I think 'untempo' in particular is a fantastic song - great mood, really haunting (is that Noam Chomsky in it?). I think all of you add something really special. The vocals are smooth and very fitting (I'm also impressed by the lyrics), the bass and the drums have a great feel, the piano is awesome (and was especially impressive live) and some of the effects (the depths of the beats) just blow me away. I'm really looking forward to new songs - let us know when you have some. All the best,
Sebastian (Of The I)
Hey, I was at your gig at Monkey Chews the other night. My friends and I all really enjoyed your set. I bought one of your cds and have been listening to it a lot. You guys just have a really great tone; it's very soulful, atmospheric, inspired yet subtle. I'm one of the guitarists of a band called 'Of The I'. Our sound is heavier than yours but we plan on doing softer things as well. Maybe we can play a gig together one day. Good luck at the Festival Hall - we won't make it coz we have a gig that night but I'll come to another show. -Sebastian
Thanks for the positive message and the request.
I checked out your tracks and like the choice of instrumentation and soft vocals you have going on.
