About me: I am a professional saxophone performer, composer/arranger, and music educator in the South Eastern Michigan area. I currently play in several ensembles, and have been an active member of the Detroit jazz and rock scenes since 2000.
I currently teach high school and college Instrumental, Music Appreciaiton, and Music Theory Classes.
In addition to teaching, I am an active composer and arranger. Above is an example of an arrangement of the Django Reinhardt piece "Douce Ambiance" I wrote for a "McKinney's Cotton Picker's" style ensemble.
While jazz is my primary musical focus, I have been fortunate in my career to have conducted several local school orchestras and bands. Additionally, I have conducted musicals such as "Once Upon A Mattress," "Pippin," and "The Whiz."
I welcome all professional comments and inquires into my services.
I found this picture and I couldn't help myself. Your blond head hair is so hot compared to your brown facial hair! :-) You love me! (Of course not how you love Kat!)
Yo Josh- excellent job at the studio, dude!! I bet you're still humming (or should I say haunted by) that unison line. Still gotta bring you back to do another solo and a few more tweaks.
Hey there! Word on the street is that Dave hooked you up with the required info, so I look forward to paying homage to the Jazz gods with ya on Saturday.
Guess what?! I got invited to go into the studio with the great gals I have been playing with, we will have a release party sometime end of Nov. I will keep you posted....woo hoo! If you wait long enough good things happen my friend!
