Blue Tree is led by Seattle-based singer/songwriter Lawson Hancock. The other founding member is David Desimone (drums and percussion) who along with Peter Fernandez (keyboards, bass) make up the rest of this indie pop/rock trio. The band was formed in Boston, MA in 2001 and released their first album Reflections in 2002. The songs featured here are from their current release Beautiful Shadow. The band is currently working on a new album in Seattle with producer/engineer Brian Brown. For more info please visit the "official" website www.bluetreemusic.com.
"A side effect of the current glut of aggressive garage rock is the suppression of the looser, not-so-aggressive style. Enter Blue Tree, a band capable of expressing itself with languid, flowing style."

How's it going? Hope you are well. We just put some new tracks and new versions on the page and we hope you will stop by and check them out.
Our other major news of the moment is about Garageband.com. We are up at no.21 in the alt pop charts(no.1 in our round!) and so they are going to promote us to Clearstation radio stations across the USA! We will have a list of stations on our page within a couple of weeks!
Meanwhile we'd love to hear what you think of our (nearly..) final versions of the first 4 tunes.
