About me:
Bonsoir! I am blugoogirl, a Scottish alternative model, fine artist and web developer/designer currently based in Aberdeen, Scotland, UK - the "Oil Capital of Europe".
I have been modelling for the past 4 years whilst attending college, university and pursuing my career. I do it because I love fashion and photography and find it a fun hobby. I am a former fine artist and computer programmer and now I work within the ever busy and rewarding hotel industry in Aberdeen. I own my own business; a Web Design, Development and Maintenance company, BluGranite, through which I do freelance web design work.
I'm what you would call an "alternative" model because I not only shoot such a diverse range of styles, but I am also not your conventionally shaped supermodel. At 5ft 7" I'm above average height for a woman, slender with wide hips, a small waist and large bust. I have an old world, 1950s Hollywood hourglass body - and I make no apologies for it. It is widely coveted today by women and a shape many try to imitate through fashion, but I thank my lucky stars it seems to be something I've been handed genetically.
I have been privileged enough to work with many talented photographers including Ian Hardie, David Porter, Iain Young, Sarah Watson, Chris Petrie, Jonathan Addie, Levi Bunyan, Sam Brill, Emma Kate Murray, Andrew Taylor, Craig Burgess and Derek Moore. I have been sought after by many modelling agencies here in the UK and in the states but prefer to maintain a professional yet part-time, self managed modelling career. In 2009 I was contacted by a new agency and considered signing with them but after much thought preferred to keep things the way they are. I model for myself and for fun. Managing it myself seems to compliment this. As they say, "if it aint broke don't fix it".

I am highly well known throughout the internet community due to my many programming and web developing endeavours, photographic and fine art and my modelling career. I was lucky enough to appear in an article on the front page of www.digg.com in 2008 for my modelling of one of diggnation's women's t-shirts.
In September 2009 I was privileged enough to be featured on Coco Violet's Freshers Event fliers and posters. Coco Violet is a wonderful designer boutique located in the city centre of Aberdeen, run and owned by my good friend Lou.
I occassionally perform burlesque acts under the stage name Madame Montbretia and will soon be appearing as a guest model in a charity burlesque/pin-up calendar for 2010 called Granite Garters. The calendar was shot in the fall of 2009 and arranged and funded by a wonderful network of ladies. I had great fun doing the calendar with them and was very happy to provide my experience for the project. Shots from my shoot for the calendar can be seen in the portfolio section of this website. I was actively involved in the November 2009 fundraiser for the printing of the calendar which took place at The Tunnels in Aberdeen. The calendar can now be ordered online here. All funds raised by it and associated spin-off projects go to support Papyrus and Hero Next Door, which are organisations that help young people with depression.
The Granite Garters calendar and girls were featured in several articles in the national press on November 12th, 2009 including The Sun, The Daily Record and The Metro. I was featured in the full page article on page 3 of The Daily Record.
When I'm not modelling I'm working, creating websites, seeing friends, listening to a wide variety of music, watching movies or shopping. I am a self-confessed hair dye addict and fashionista.
I am available for portraiture, fashion, fetish and lingerie shoots. Anything else, just ask!
Currently available for TFP/CD shoots as I just do this as a hobby and am looking to gain even more experience and work with a variety of artists - photographers, MUAs, hair stylists and other models. A FEW FACTS:
My hair changes almost every week in style and/or colour.
I now colour, style, cut, trim etc my own hair completely and have done for the past year or so. Why pay for something I can do better than a stylist?
I am an experienced nail technician and manicurist specialising in acrylic nail enhancement systems.
I love dark EBM futurepop music. Especially when combined with alchohol, friends and the opportunity to poledance!
My hair has been grey, silver, lavender, white, platinum blonde, honey blonde, ash blonde, light brunnette, deep dark brunette, shocking pink, black, fire engine red, blue/black, peacock blue, sky blue. So far!
