A embarrassing time
Me well I seem to have many embarrassing times but many you just had to be there and it helps to know me a bit. To be honest this spring I got out of Federal Prison (that in itself is embarrassing) I went to a mission at first and was in this program. None of us (we were about 5 women) had money but still we were a proud group of women. Every so often someone would want to help us in some way. Like I said we were proud and really didn't like to get public handouts just so someone could feel better. This day we had no choice cuz this guy gave a lot of money to the mission. He wanted to buy each of us a new outfit at this fancy dept store. Mind you I have two college degrees and I am not stupid just a dork at times. I hate mannequins, don't know why but they creep me out. Of course this fancy place had tons of them and I even said to them (the other women ) that I hate mannequins. They told me to be good cuz I was a bit of a clown. We did fine till check out time and I felt something behind me and coming from prison I watch my back and of course it was ages since I had been in a store. Well I turned around and this lady was right there close to me. I don't know what I thought but for some reason thought is was a mannequin on the loose. I looked at her forever then like a fool said "Oh I thought you were a mannequin" How stupid!! I know mannequins are not real, hell I just don't know what was going through my dorky head. Her husband said that not to worry we were just from the mission (in other words the village idiots) I started laughing so hard and so did everyone else and of course got the blame for everyone knowing who we were. They kept saying they couldn't take me anywhere lol. I haven't been back to that store by the way.
