Blunken is a Miami-based progressive rock group featuring Frank Matyok on guitar and vocals (Claim, Solis), Rick Diaz on drums (Young Turk - Geffen, Virgin, Peer Music, BMG/RCA) and Nathan "Monkey" Greenberg on bass (Monkey Village, Funky Monkey Juice). The band, in one form or another, has been together since 2006; and playing at Miami venues such as Tobacco Road and Tom’s NFL Club, and have recently been accepted to participate in the Miami Music Festival 2009. BLUNKEN songs range greatly in style and form. Essentially, BLUNKEN is a heavy rock band; but the long, quick-changing songs span many genres, varying from hard rock/metal, to prog, to reggae, to folk/acoustic rock, and beyond.
