Emit a distinct Metal ideal, augment a suspicion of hardcore. Now embellish and inflame with a trace of death and black feral like atrocitys and you procure an amalgamation of the storm that is Blunt Wound Trauma.
Blunt Wound Trauma strive to create a noise which has commonly been described as a wall of sound.
Hailing from the small town of South Shields, Blunt Wound Trauma have developed and transgressed the boundaries and confines of there locality by playing on the side of portraying only what they feel is befitting for there environment.
Dual vocal assaults, old school hardcore riffing and punk ethics are combined to create a sound which is unique in the sense that it will leave you battered and bruised, depraved and violated, and still make you come back for more.

Sound cool, Gabba Meathole. Dont know how tight all the individual tracks are going to be together cos we dont use click tracks and we fluctuate time alot. Might be a bit frustrating.
We just need more pic's of Dave inebriated and gurning. Always a winner.
Either follow the links above or search "Ever Since The Lake Caught Fire" on iTunes.
"Produced by ¡Forward, Russia!'s Tom Woodhead, debut single A Fire Born In Dallas (released on the Pay For The Piano imprint) finds post-hardcore and prog influences welded together to create a sound that is both vulnerable and self-assured. Admittedly, the usual influences of Fugazi and At The Drive-In are worn pretty obviously, but the band are far more than mere copyists.
Indeed, at their single launch they offered an intense and impassioned performance, with snare cracks and upstrokes reverberating around the venue.
Ever Since The Lake Caught Fire, it would seem, have more than enough firepower in their sonic arsenal to kick some of the music world's feted young pretenders into touch. " The Metro
