I have recently taken a liking to firearms again. I generally go through this phase once in a while, but this is the first time I actually spent money and appeased my appetite for a large bore handgun. Next up is a larger bored long distance rifle. I am also preparing to get my CCW permit. Getting into pistols and concealed carry has opened my eyes to a whole new avenue of hobbies like Gunsmithing, leather work, and essential handgun training/practice these things should keep me busy for a while.
I am still a big fan of Toyota Land Cruisers and actually own three of them(older models of course).
Recently i have been playing the video game, Rock Band, way too much. But this does have a good side too. I have been wanting to learn certain songs that are on the game, on my real guitar. I am starting big first, I want to learn "Green Grass and High Tides" by The Outlaws(you can hear it as my profile song). I do not know how I missed this song for so long.
Music
Of course I will always be a Guns N Roses, Velvet Revolver, and Slash's Snakepit fan. As I will always be a fan of Slash also.
I have started appreciating a few other great old bands that I knew where good but just didn't listen to them(very often) to name a few: The Who, The Outlaws, KISS, Poison, Blue Oyster Cult, Alice Cooper, and a few others.
I have also discovered a few single songs by bands that I really don't like the rest of the album just one or two songs in particular(they are one or two hit wonders to me). Coheed & Cambria's - Welcome Home is the perfect example. I also discovered Joe Perry(Aerosmith's guitarist) has some pretty decent solo material.
Movies
Movies? Don't watch many movies. Mostly TV Series on DVD is what we watch. We are fully caught up on(watched every episode on DVD that is out): CSI, CSI:Miami, 24, NCIS(finish it this week), and I think I am missing one or two.
As far as the movies I do watch, Steven Seagal movies are my favorite. They aren't the best movies but at least when he is fighting he isn't having to act, he can really do all those things.
Television

Books
I like fiction action books like Tom Clancy style, although it isn't limited to him.
Heroes
Heroes? Hmm, my Dad and Mom would have to be the top heroes in my life. They both have given up alot for me, my sister, and other people over the years without expecting anything but love in return.
Other heroes that aren't family? I am going to use a well circulated quote to express my feelings:

we all had moments of sucking hard and none of us did really well. i am out of practice and wont care about first person shooters again until modern warfare 2 comes out. which isnt until november and there is a high chance i will be involved in actual modern warfare by then

Were to start, my sister is married and the are expecting a little one in may. My mom and dad sold their place in alton and now live in thayer but are planning on moving to spring river arkansas were the currently have a cabin. Their plan is to retire there if they can ever do that. How about your family?
