Mostly, I love my family and friends. I like to entertain and cook for them. I like Art in any form. I love music, and dancing. I like gardening. I love my home, although I wish I were a better house keeper. (Not one of my priorities.)

I love music, but am partial to the Blues, R&B, Funk, Jazz, and really anything you can dance to.
You may order the new CD, Barstool Blues, at CDBaby.com

Movies
I love seeing good chick flicks with my girlfriends. I really, really miss my sister Sherrie who passed after a valiant fight with kidney cancer. She and I made regular dates to see movies together, and no one has replaced her yet. My son just hooked me up with a helluva video card, and a flatscreen HD monitor, so I can now watch DVD's with my headphones on and escape into my own little world.
My favorite actor is Morgan Freeman, who left us for another woman he met at Ground Zero. His wife and I aren't too happy about it, but hey..... I understand.
Now the movie I am looking forward to is Bill Maher's "Religilous." Comes out 10/3. But I think that's the night we're going to see Jason Ricci and New Blood at Big Cities in Rockford.
Television
I have been watching a lot more TV, now that I have my own little entertainment area in the bedroom. My 46" HD TV dominates the room, and the surround system takes me there if ya know what I mean....
Have a better movie package and recently saw Gladiator, with Russell Crowe, a movie I never thought I'd like, but it was great!
I love the crime shows, probably because I was in the business for almost 30 years. The closer is my favorite. Kyra Sedgewick kicks ass.
Books
I am a voracious reader, and can't keep up the site in terms of what I read. My tastes are pretty diverse. Right now I am reading the Food and Wine Cocktails 2008. It contains every famous cocktail recipe since the 1800's Including recipes on how to make all your favorite booze from scratch. When I was a teen I remember getting into my Dad's dandelion wine, and was hooked from there. I still have the 30 gal crock he used to make it in.

Everyone I know is a hero or heroine in some way. Some have contributed greatly to their community, some have overcome extreme adversity, some have exceptional talent that they share. Everyone I know does little things in big ways for the betterment of humanity.
About me: I am a 62 years young, married, mother of 2, who are grown and gone, leaving Mom to create a whole new life of her own. I have 4 grandchildren, and a greatgrandchild coming in November. OMG! I am a liberal thinker, outgoing, can be slightly obnoxious, and sometimes downright funky, but I know how to have fun.

Bonnie Raitt and Maria Muldare....tribute to Barack Obama. Give a listen.
Who I'd like to meet: Like-minded people. I am happily married for 40 years, so am not looking for attention from the opposite sex. I do have many male friends, though. I love live music, and have many musician friends. I have girlfriends that I wouldn't trade for the world. I love my family. Love to meet intelligent, open, stimulating people, who do not wear masks.
Pistol Pete doing some well aged and hardened "Fly Like An Eagle"
