Always playing the part of the unassuming, quiet guy, Brian Martin has finally released his independent, freshman album “The Road We Share”. After picking up his first guitar 14 years ago, studying percussion, playing bass guitar in bands and practicing in dorm stairwells and bedrooms, Martin has taken his acoustic alternative style to the next level with a compelling, driven record, filled with sounds from his life’s excursions. The head-bopping beats and concrete bass lines lay the foundation for progressive guitar riffs and uncomplicated vocals, all of which converge into a work that echoes the influences from his everyday life.
From an early age, Martin found music to be a soothing solution to the world around him, and has realized through the years how song can be a vehicle for promoting change. This is evident in the single “If You,” which asks the world to stop watching and start making a difference. Martin believes in this mantra so much that when he found out that several people in his life were diagnosed with breast cancer, he decided to donate a portion of each album sale (10%) to a charity aiding the fight against the disease, making the title track that much more endearing.
“The Road We Share” was recorded, mixed and produced in the guest bedroom of his apartment, a solo endeavor that has been the culmination of months of hard work and years of self-exploration. With this debut album, Brian Martin manages to encompass and intensify the broad world of musical sound.

Dude, you were awesome! We really enjoyed your set. If we're ever in the area again, we'll have to set something up with you. Also, if you're ever interested in playing a show in Baltimore, MD or York, PA, we would love to have you. Keep the tunes coming, man!
I love your Music. I listen mostly to Christian Rock and other inspirational music because so little other music out there speaks a true message. Your's however is an exception and I have it now as my profile song to share with my friends. I am not far from Richmond. I hope I might get to see you perform soon. Best of Luck to You and God Bless You!
Brian- Thanks for the message! I did check out your music on iTunes...I really dig it. I had no idea you could sing dude. Josh Sturtevant gave me the heads up on your iTunes album. I guess he graduated with you...we're both English teachers at Campbell HS now. :-) How are other things with you?
