I Am . . .
- An independent musician: I play guitar, bass, Hammond organ, and drums.
- A former research chemist, who eventually found his true calling as a 6th grade science teacher.
- A member of the Mvskoke (Creek) Nation, a Native American tribe indigenous to Georgia, Florida, and Alabama (but forcibly relocated to Oklahoma).
- A supporter of Creative Commons, the Free Software Foundation, and Wikipedia.
- A vegetarian (since 1992).
- Capable of reading and writing in French -- with the help of a very large dictionary!
